Super admins are staff accounts whose verified email is listed in the SUPER_ADMIN_EMAILS environment variable. They see only the Admin Panel; opening any workspace page redirects them back to /admin. Regular users who try /admin are sent to their board.

By the end you can

  • Explain how super-admin access is granted
  • Navigate each admin page
  • Disable or enable a user

Before you start

  • Your email is in SUPER_ADMIN_EMAILS and verified

Step by step

  1. Log in/admin

Log in with the super-admin account.

You should see: You land on /admin "Overview": Total Users, New Users (7d), Active Users (30d), Active Subscriptions, Organizations, Projects, Reports, Invoices; Integrations readiness; Subscription Distribution. The shell reads "Admin Panel" with nav Overview, Users, Plans, Payments, Help videos, Settings.

  2. Users/admin/users

Click Users. Search "Search by name or email". Open a user.

You should see: Directory columns Name, Email, Organization, Plan, Status, Verified, Joined. The detail page shows Account, Usage and an "Account Control" switch ("Account is enabled/disabled").

  3. Plans and Payments/admin/plans

    Click Plans, then Payments.

You should see: Plans: Total Plans, Active Plans, Total Subscriptions and the Plan Matrix. Payments: Stripe Integration, Webhook Status, Billing Events (Event ID, Type, Provider, Organization, Status, Date).

  4. Settings/admin/settings

    Click Settings.

You should see: "Super Admin Identity" (your email, "Verified email listed in SUPER_ADMIN_EMAILS") and "Integration Readiness" (Stripe keys Configured/Pending).

Tips

  • If SUPER_ADMIN_EMAILS is unset, the legacy fallback admin@test.com applies. Set the variable in production.
