Finish the job: In production and Paid
Use the two manual stages, let the Install underway and review-request automations fire, and understand how Paid affects the board and dashboard.
Video tutorial coming soon
The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
In production and Paid are never set automatically. Drag the job to In production when the crew starts (the "Install underway" text can go out) and to Paid when the money arrives (the "Thank you + review request" email can go out). Paid jobs leave the active count.
By the end you can
- Move to In production and Paid by hand
- Know which automations fire
- Understand what Paid means for totals

Step by step
In production
/boardOn the board drag the job to "In production", or click the stage on the job page stepper.
You should see: Toast "<Customer> moved to In production". If the automation is on, the homeowner receives the Install underway text.
Paid
/boardWhen payment clears, drag the job to "Paid".
You should see: The job leaves the "active jobs" count; the review-request email goes out if that automation is on. Dashboard revenue already counted it when the job was signed (WON).
Record the amount received on the invoice as Deposit Paid so Balance Due reads zero.
