The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.

The calendar shows inspections, estimates, installs and follow-ups for every job. Appointments are colour-coded by type, canceled ones are struck through and completed ones are faded. On a phone it opens in list view.

Times are displayed in your computer's time zone, but homeowner messages use the company time zone set in Settings → Automations. A notice appears when the two differ.

By the end you can

  • Switch between week, month and list
  • Filter by person and show canceled visits
  • Read the time-zone notice

You should see: Heading "Calendar" with "Inspections, estimates and installs for every job." and a "+ New appointment" button. Controls: "Today", ‹ ›, the period title, an assignee filter ("Everyone"), "Show canceled" and view tabs week / month / list.

  2. Week view/calendar

Click "week". Scroll the grid from 6 am to 9 pm. Hover an empty slot.

You should see: Clicking an empty slot opens the booking dialog pre-filled with that time.

  3. Month and list views/calendar

    Click "month", then "list".

You should see: Month: click a day to book at 9:00. List: the next 30 days, each entry with "With <assignee>" and an "Open job" link; empty state "Nothing scheduled in these 30 days."

  4. Filter and show canceled/calendar

Choose a team member in the assignee filter. Toggle "Show canceled".

You should see: Only that person's visits remain; canceled visits appear struck through.

  5. Read the time-zone notice/calendar

If a banner says "Times here are in your computer's time zone…", read it.

You should see: It names your zone and the company zone and tells you homeowners see the company zone. Book in their local time.
