What the homeowner sees: proposal page and e-sign
Walk through the homeowner's side: the email, the branded proposal page with photos and options, choosing upgrades, and signing on the e-sign page.
Video tutorial coming soon
The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
The homeowner never logs in. Their email link opens a public page built from the frozen shared snapshot: company header, "Prepared for", inspection photos, quote options, upgrades, attached documents and a note from you. A sticky button leads to the e-sign page where they pick an option, tick upgrades, add notes and sign.
By the end you can
- Describe every section of the homeowner page
- Explain the e-sign flow including upgrades and notes
- Know what the company sees in return

Step by step
The email
/agreement/[reportId]Open the signing email. Its subject is your template's, by default "<Company> has sent you a quote", with a button "Review and Sign Quote".
You should see: Clicking opens /agreement/<id>?token=… without any login.
The proposal page
/agreement/[reportId]Scroll: company header with logo, phone, email, website and "Download PDF"; "Prepared for" with name and address; "What we found on your roof" photos (click one for the lightbox; Esc closes, arrows move); "Your quote" or "Choose your option" cards with "Select <name>" and "What's included (n)"; optional upgrades; "Attached documents"; "A note from <company>".
You should see: The sticky button reads "Accept & sign" (options) or "Review & sign" (single quote). Footer: "Questions? Call <phone>".
The company is notified
/projects/[projectId]Switch to the app: open the job.
You should see: Activity shows "Homeowner opened the proposal" with the device, the board chip reads "Opened 1× · just now", and the account owner receives an opened notification email.
The e-sign page
/agreement/esign/[reportId]As the homeowner, select an option and click "Accept & sign". On the e-sign page review "Select your estimate option", tick upgrades under "Choose from the following optional upgrades", read "My Product Selections", add "Notes", and check the "Summary" (Estimate subtotal, Optional upgrades, Total).
You should see: "Download Quote" and "Save & sign" are in the action bar.
Sign
/agreement/esign/[reportId]Click "Save & sign". In "Sign Document" draw a signature, use "Clear Signature" if needed, and click "Save Signature". Then cut to the job page and the inbox of the account owner.
You should see: The proposal page now reads "This proposal has been signed." and options are badged "Accepted". The job moves to Signed (status WON); with the default revenue setting the signed total is written into Job value.
Tips
- Test this on your phone once; most homeowners sign on theirs.
