The product list: your default pricing catalog
What the product list is, how quote items pull from it, what each column means, and the plan limits on how many items you can keep.

The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
The product list is the catalog every quote draws from: shingles, underlayment, labour, dump fees, with a unit and a price each. When you type an item name in the quote editor the app suggests matches from this list, so pricing stays consistent across reps.
Think of it as your default pricing. Additional price lists can override individual prices for specific proposals; the product list is the baseline.
By the end you can
- Explain how the product list feeds quotes
- Read the table columns and units
- Know the item limits per plan
Step by step
Open the product list
/pricing/productlistClick "Price list" in the sidebar.
You should see: Heading "Products & Pricing › Product List (default pricing)", a count of items, a search box "Search by name, description, unit", an "Add item" button and a paginated table.
Read the columns
/pricing/productlistRead the table: Name, Description, Price, Unit, Measurement, plus "Calculation" and edit actions per row.
You should see: Units are one of SQ, SQFT, LF, EA, GAL, HR, BDL, PCT, RL, BX.
Search
/pricing/productlistType "shingle" in the search box.
You should see: The table filters by name, description or unit.
Know the limits
/pricing/productlistRemember: Starter allows 250 items; Pro and Beta allow 1,000. Over the limit, adding an item shows an error toast.
You should see: The item count in the header helps you track it.
Tips
- There is no per-item delete button. Remove items by downloading, deleting rows in Excel and uploading again (see the import lesson).
