Additional price lists and overrides
Create a second price list (retail, insurance, commercial), include products and override their prices, then point a proposal or layout at it.

The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
Additional price lists sit on top of the default product list. Each one includes a subset of products with optional override prices; anything not overridden falls back to the base price. A proposal uses the list chosen in Report Settings; a layout can carry a default list for every proposal made from it.
Limits: 2 lists on Starter, 10 on Pro and Beta.
By the end you can
- Create and name a price list
- Include items and set override prices
- Select the list for a proposal or layout

Step by step
Open Additional Price Lists
/pricing/price-listsFrom the sidebar Price list page, or Settings → Products & Pricing → "Manage Price Lists", open /pricing/price-lists.
You should see: Heading "Additional Price Lists" with "Manage custom pricing lists for different customer segments." and a table Name, Items, Created, Updated.
Create a list
/pricing/price-listsClick "Create Price List", type a name such as "Insurance 2026" and confirm.
You should see: The list appears with 0 items and actions Edit, Rename, Delete.
Include items and override prices
/pricing/price-lists/[priceListId]Click Edit. In the "Product Items" table tick Include on the products this list covers, type an Override Price where it differs, and read Effective Price and Margin %. Click "Save" ("Reset" discards).
You should see: Effective price equals the override where set, otherwise the base price.
Use it on a proposal
/edit/report/[reportId]Open a proposal in the editor, click "Report Settings" and choose the list under "Pricing". For every future proposal from a layout, set it in the layout's "Layout Settings" instead.
You should see: Quote item suggestions and prices now come from the selected list.
Tips
- After switching the list on a proposal, review items already added and re-add any that should take the new price.
