Import an EagleView or RoofScope PDF
Upload an aerial measurement report, check the values the app extracted, fix anything flagged, and apply it as the active snapshot.

The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
If you already pay for EagleView or RoofScope reports, this is the fastest route: drop the PDF in, the app reads the totals, you check them, and the job has an active snapshot in under a minute.
By the end you can
- Upload a report PDF
- Review and correct extracted values
- Apply the report and see it active on the job
Before you start
- A measurement report PDF (EagleView or RoofScope) under 20 MB
Screens used
/projects/[projectId]
Step by step
Open the import dialog
/projects/[projectId]On the job page, in the Roof measurements card, click "Import EagleView / RoofScope" (or "Import new report").
You should see: Dialog "Import roof measurements" with tabs "Upload PDF" and "From RoofScope".
Upload the PDF
/projects/[projectId]Drop the file on "Drop the report PDF here, or click to choose", or click and pick it.
You should see: The file is read and the review step appears. PDFs only, up to 20 MB (4 MB if file storage is not configured).
Review the extracted values
/projects/[projectId]Read the vendor, report number and date. For each value check the include checkbox, edit the number if needed, and note the badge: "From report", "Check" or "Low confidence". Write pitches as "6/12".
You should see: The summary line reads "N values will be applied; N fields enabled; N skipped."
Give the snapshot a meaningful name (up to 160 characters), for example "EagleView 2026-10-01".
Apply to the job
/projects/[projectId]Click "Apply to this job".
You should see: The dialog closes, the Roof measurements card shows the numbers, and the snapshot is active. The activity logs "Measurements imported".
Tips
- Re-importing the same report shows "This report has already been applied to the job." Use "Choose another report" for a new file.
Troubleshooting
Most values came back "Low confidence" or empty.
The PDF is probably a scan or a non-standard layout. Type the values from the report by hand in the review step; they are applied the same way.
