Set up your branding: logo, colours and company details

Preconditions

• A square PNG logo with a transparent background ready in the Downloads folder.
• Branding reset to defaults so the change is visible.

Steps

• 1. Open BrandingDo: In the sidebar, under Setup, click "Branding".Expect: Cards titled "Report Themes", "Account Details" ("These details will appear on your reports"), "Company Logo" and "Brand Colors".Actual:
• 2. Pick a report themeDo: In Report Themes, click through Theme 1 to Theme 6 and pick the cover style you like. You can change it any time.Expect: The selected theme is highlighted.Actual:
• 3. Fill in Account DetailsDo: Enter Account Name (your trading name, for example "Acme Roofing Co."), Company Email, Company Phone, Website, Business License # and the "We can help with..." line that appears on the cover page.Expect: All fields accept text. Nothing is saved yet.Actual:
• 4. Upload your logoDo: In Company Logo click "Upload Logo" and choose an image file (PNG with a transparent background works best). Use "Change Logo" or "Remove" later if needed.Expect: A preview of the logo appears in the card.Actual:
• 5. Set brand coloursDo: In Brand Colors pick a Primary Color and a Secondary Color. Avoid pure black or pure white as the primary: those are ignored for app theming.Expect: The colour swatches update. "Reset" returns to the defaults.Actual:
• 6. Save and check the resultDo: Click Save. Then look at the sidebar chip and any button.Expect: Toast: "Branding settings saved successfully!". The sidebar chip shows your Account Name and logo; buttons use your primary colour.Actual:

Known pitfalls to probe

Trigger each situation deliberately and check the app behaves, or guides the user, as described.

• I set a colour but the app still looks blue.What should happen or be shown: Near-black and near-white primaries are ignored on purpose. Choose a mid-tone colour and save again, then reload.
