Before you record
- A fresh email address that has never been used in the app, with its inbox open in a second tab.
- Clear cookies so the signup page is reachable (logged-in users are redirected to the board).
- Record at 1920×1080, browser zoom 100%, light theme, sidebar expanded, no personal data on screen. See Recording standards.
The viewer is assumed to have: An email inbox you can open now; A password of at least 6 characters in mind.

In this video we create a brand-new My Roof CRM workspace and verify the email address, which is the one setup step you cannot skip if you want to send proposals.
1. Open the signup page
0:20 · 32sGo to the website and click "Start Free Beta" or "Get Started" on the plans page, or open /signup directly. You see the eyebrow "Workspace Setup" and the heading "Create your My Roof CRM workspace."
Let us start from zero. This is the signup page. Three fields, that is all it takes to create a workspace.
Show before cutting: A form with three fields: Full Name, Email Address and Password, with a Show/Hide eye on the password.
2. Fill in your details
0:52 · 32sType your full name (at least 2 characters), your work email and a password of at least 6 characters. Read the line "By registering, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy".
Use the email address you will actually send proposals from, because that is the address we will verify in a moment.
Show before cutting: The helper text under the password reads "Password must be at least 6 characters". Invalid emails are flagged before you can submit.
3. Create the account

And we are in. Notice the message: it is reminding us to verify the email address. We will do that right away so it never blocks us later.
Show before cutting: A toast appears: "Account created successfully. Logging you in..." with the note "Please verify your email address before sending email from the workspace." You are signed in and land on the board.
4. Open the verification email
1:56 · 32sOpen your inbox and find the verification email. Click its link. It opens the Verify Email page in the app, which shows a "Verify Email" button.
Here is the verification email. Click the link, and then, this is the part people miss, click the Verify Email button on the page. Only then is the address verified.
Show before cutting: After clicking the button the page shows "Verifying Email" and then a success message. Verification does not happen until you click the button.
5. Confirm it worked on your profile
2:28 · 32sBack in the app, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then "Profile". Look at the Email row.
On the profile page the email now shows as Verified. If yours still says Unverified, this is also where you resend the email.
Show before cutting: The Email row shows a green "Verified" badge. If it still says "Unverified", click "Send verification email" and repeat the previous step.
