Customers: the roll-up view
See every homeowner with their linked jobs, open jobs, revenue and last activity, and learn why customers are edited on the job rather than here.
Video tutorial coming soon
The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
Customers are created automatically from jobs, so this page is a read-only roll-up: who you have worked for, how many jobs, how much revenue, and when you last touched them. To change a customer's details, open one of their jobs and use Project Settings.
By the end you can
- Read the customer roll-up
- Know where customer details are edited

Step by step
Open Customers
/customersClick "Customers" in the sidebar.
You should see: Stat cards "Customers", "Linked Projects" and "Total Revenue", a search box "Search by name, company, email, or phone..." and a table with Customer, Company / Contact, Projects, Open, Revenue and Last Activity.
Search
/customersType a phone number or email fragment.
You should see: Rows filter. On a phone the same fields show as cards.
Edit a customer
/customersRows do not open anything. To edit a customer, go to one of their jobs and use ⋯ → "Edit job details" → Customer Details.
You should see: The job's customer snapshot updates.
