Mark a job lost, reopen it, or delete it
Keep the board honest: mark jobs lost so they drop out of totals, reopen them when the homeowner calls back, and delete test jobs completely.
Video tutorial coming soon
The written steps below are complete. Producing the video? Use the video script tab — it follows these steps one for one.
A lost job stays in the system for history but leaves the board totals and its "still to win" number. Reopening restores it. Deleting removes the job and everything attached to it, so it is reserved for mistakes and tests.
By the end you can
- Mark lost and reopen from the board or the job page
- Delete a job and know what is removed

Step by step
Mark as lost
/boardOn a board card click "⋯" → "Mark as lost" (or use the same item in the job page ⋯ menu).
You should see: The card disappears from the board unless "Show lost" is on, where it shows a "Lost" badge. The job status is LOST and its value leaves the column total.
Reopen
/boardTurn on "Show lost", open the card's ⋯ menu and click "Reopen job".
You should see: The Lost badge goes and the job is active again in its stage.
A lost job that you drag to another stage stays lost; only Reopen clears the status.
Delete
/projects/[projectId]On the job page click ⋯ → "Delete job". Read the dialog "Delete this job?" and click "Delete job".
You should see: The job, its proposals, orders, invoices, photos and history are removed. It cannot be undone.
