The job page is the hub. The header holds the homeowner, the address and the stage stepper. The left column has two tabs, Proposals and Photos. The right column has Appointments, Roof measurements and the Activity timeline that records every send, open, signature, order and note.

By the end you can

  • Find every action on the job page
  • Change stage from the stepper
  • Read the proposal card statuses and warnings
  • Use the right-hand cards for appointments and measurements

Step by step

  1. Read the header/projects/[projectId]

Open any job from the board. Find the "‹ Board" link, the customer name as the title (job name underneath if different), the address (opens Google Maps), phone and email links, "Lead source", "Job value" or "Not quoted yet", and the buttons "Add photos" and "Measurements".

You should see: A "Lost" badge appears only on lost jobs. The ⋯ menu offers "Edit job details", "Mark as lost" / "Reopen job" and "Delete job".

  2. Use the stage stepper/projects/[projectId]

Below the header, click any stage in the eight-step stepper, for example Inspected.

You should see: The job moves there immediately, and "Moved to Inspected" appears in the Activity panel.

  3. Proposals tab/projects/[projectId]

In the Proposals tab, read the proposal card: image, name, status line ("Sent <date> · 1/2 signed · Next: <name>" or "Signed <date>") and the buttons. Unsigned cards offer "Open for editing", "View report" and a ⋯ menu (Duplicate, Delete). Signed cards offer "View report", "Create order" and "Create invoice".

You should see: Warning lines may appear: "Draft changed. Republish to update the customer view.", "Measurements changed. Refresh quote lines before sharing." or "N calculated lines still need measurement values."

  4. Photos tab/projects/[projectId]

Click the Photos tab. Use "Upload photos" to add images from your computer, click a photo to open the viewer, set a tag and a caption, or delete it.

You should see: The header counts "N photos from the job site". Filter chips show "All" and each tag in use. Uploading here also moves a New lead job to Inspected. Tags: Overview, Damage, Shingles, Flashing, Gutters, Vents, Attic, Interior / leak, Before, After, Other.

  5. Appointments and Roof measurements cards/projects/[projectId]

On the right, find the "Appointments" card with "Schedule" and "Open calendar", and the "Roof measurements" card with "Import EagleView / RoofScope" and "Measure manually".

You should see: Without measurements the card reads "No measurements yet. Import an EagleView or RoofScope report...". With an active snapshot it lists Pitch, Roof area, Squares, Ridges, Hips, Valleys, Eaves, Rakes and Waste.

  6. Activity timeline/projects/[projectId]

Scroll the Activity panel. Read the entries, from "Job created" to "Moved to <Stage>", notes, photos added, "Proposal sent", "Homeowner opened the proposal", "Proposal signed", "Material order created" and "Invoice created".

You should see: Customer events include a device summary such as "iPhone · Safari".

Tips

  • The Proposals tab also shows a compact strip of photos under the list so you can see the roof while choosing a proposal.
  • The "Measurements" header button jumps to Project Settings → Measurements, the manual drawing workspace.
