Dashboard Guide
Track Your Business Performance at a Glance
Use the Dashboard in MyRoofCRM to get a high-level view of your sales performance. It displays key metrics such as your win and loss percentage, total revenue earned, and a list of projects that are still open, giving you instant insight into your business health.
This overview is the starting point. To track detailed financials, you need to configure Dashboard Tracking.
Setting Up Dashboard Tracking (Revenue Tracking)
To have your project revenue automatically reflected in the Dashboard, you must first enable the tracking feature.
To turn on automatic revenue tracking:
- Navigate to
Configuration > Account Settings. - Under the Project Revenue Settings heading, find the option for
Auto Generate Project Revenue. - Toggle this setting ON.
How Automatic Revenue Works Once enabled, revenue is automatically added to the Dashboard when a customer signs a quote. This ties your sales success directly to your financial tracking.
How Revenue Tracking Works by Project Status
Revenue shown on the Dashboard depends on the project's status: Open, Won, or Lost.
-
Open Set by default when a project is first created.
Revenue is not auto-generated. Enter a manual Project Revenue amount of at least $1 for it to appear on the Dashboard. -
Won Set when a quote is signed.
With auto-tracking ON, revenue is auto-generated from the signed quote. You can still manually adjust this value. -
Lost Set manually for projects that do not close.
Revenue is not auto-generated. Enter a manual value of at least $1, usually based on the estimated quote amount.
How to Manually Change a Project's Revenue Value
You can override or set the revenue for any project, which will update the Dashboard, Project Details page, and the project card on the Home page.
Steps to change project revenue:
- Open the desired project.
- Click
Project Settingsin the top-right corner. - Go to the
Project Details. - Find the Project Revenue field and enter the new dollar value.
- Save your changes. The updated amount will now flow into your Dashboard reports.
For Won projects with multiple signed quotes, you can use this method to show revenue from a single quote or enter a custom total.
