Text Tokens are dynamic placeholders that pull project/account data into documents automatically. They reduce manual typing and keep output consistent.

Where Tokens Can Be Added

Tokens can be used in reports, layouts, templates, and emails.

  • Introduction page: customer and salesperson tokens

  • Custom text page: all available tokens

How to Add Tokens

1. Add Tokens to a Layout

  1. Go to Configuration > Settings and open Layouts.
  2. Edit a layout and open a token-supported page.
  3. Place the cursor in the text editor.
  4. Click Insert Token.
  5. Select the token and format it as needed.

2. Add Tokens to a Template

  1. Go to Configuration > Settings > Templates.
  2. Edit a compatible template.
  3. Place the cursor and click Insert Token.
  4. Select token(s) and save the template.

3. Add Tokens to a Single Report

  1. Open a project and edit a report.
  2. Navigate to a supported page.
  3. Place the cursor, click Insert Token, and choose a token.
  4. Save your report changes.
