How to Edit Layouts
Modify Your Existing Document Templates
Once you have created a layout, you can edit it at any time to update its design, content, or structure. Changes you publish will automatically be reflected in all new quotes created from that point forward.
Steps to Edit a Layout
- Go to Configuration > Account Settings.
- Select either the My Layouts or Shared Layouts tab to find the layout you want to modify.
- Click the pencil (edit) icon to the right of the layout's name to open it in the Layout Editor.
- Make your desired changes. You can add, remove, or redesign any page, update text, insert tokens, or adjust formatting.
Important: Edits Apply to Future Reports Only When you edit and publish a layout, the changes will not update reports that have already been created. Your modifications will only apply to all new reports generated after the edits are saved. This prevents unexpected changes to quotes already sent to clients.
