Apply Templates to Your Quotes and Reports

Templates let you quickly populate sections of your customer quotes with pre-written, professional content. This guide shows you how to select and apply templates to the Introduction, Quote Details, and Authorization pages.

Important In the report editor, you can apply templates only. Create and edit templates in Configuration > Account Settings > Templates.

How to Choose and Apply a Template

The process is similar for each page type. Start by navigating to the specific page within the report you are editing.

1. Apply an Introduction Page Template

The Introduction page is your cover or welcome section.

  1. Open a project and edit a report.
  2. Navigate to the Introduction page.
  3. Click View Templates button.
  4. Click on the template you want to use, then confirm by clicking on the item.

2. Apply a Quote Details Page Template

This template populates the main body of your quote with line items and pricing.

  1. Open a project and edit a report.
  2. Navigate to the Quote Details page.
  3. Click View Templates button.

3. Apply an Authorization Page Template

This page contains the signing area, disclaimers, and optional upgrades.

  1. Open a project and edit a report.
  2. Navigate to the Authorization page.
  3. Click View Templates button.
  4. Click on your chosen template and confirm by clicking the item.

Critical Warning: This Action Cannot Be Undone Applying a template will overwrite existing content on that page. The previous information cannot be recovered. Always double-check that you have selected the correct template and the correct page tab (for Quote Details) before confirming.
