Streamline Signatures and Customer Selections

Authorization Templates allow you to save and reuse the signing page of your quotes, including disclaimers, optional upgrades, and customer selection fields. This ensures a consistent and professional closing process for every job.


1. Create a Template in Account Settings

Design a complete signing page once in settings and reuse it across reports.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Account Settings > Templates.
  2. Click Create Template button.
  3. Select Authorization as the template type.
  4. Customize the different sections of the page:
    • Disclaimer: Add your terms, conditions, or special instructions for the client.
    • Optional Upgrades: Insert linked items from your product list or manual entries to offer additional products or services. This is a key area for increasing project value.
    • Product Selections: Create product selection fields (for example color, model, or finish) for the customer to fill out upon signing. Enter the field label on the left.
    • Footer Notes: Include any final notes or contact reminders visible on the signing page.

Pro Tip: Maximize Your Sales Offering optional upgrades is a proven way to increase your average sale value. As a best practice, aim to present a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) clear, valuable upgrade options on your authorization page.


2. Apply a Template to a Report

Quickly add a pre-configured authorization page to any quote.

Steps:

  1. Open a project and edit a report.
  2. Navigate to the Authorization page.
  3. Click View Templates.
  4. Select the desired template and confirm by clicking on the template.
  5. The page will update with the template's structure. You can make final adjustments specific to the customer, which are saved only to this report.
