Quote Details Templates
Create and Reuse Detailed Quote Sections
Quote Details Templates allow you to save and reuse structured pricing pages, including line items, sections, and descriptions. This is ideal for creating standard service packages (like "Basic," "Premium," "Platinum") or job-type templates (like "Roofing" or "Siding").
1. Create a Template in Account Settings
Build and save reusable quote-details templates from account settings.
Steps:
- Navigate to
Configuration > Account Settings > Templates. - Click
Create TemplateButton. - Select Quote Details as the template type.
- Add Tabs: Click
+next to the quote name to add up to3tabs (e.g., for Good/Better/Best options). - Build Content:
- Add Items: Click
Add Itembutton to create line items. Type the name; if it matches your product catalog, suggestions will appear and you can populate the whole details by just clicking on the suggestions. - Add Sections: Click
Add Sectionbutton to create headings (e.g., "Labor," "Materials") and group items below them.
- Add Items: Click
Important Note on Applying Templates Applying a template will overwrite all current tabs when applied. This action cannot be undone.
2. Apply a Template to a Report
Quickly populate the Quote Details page with a saved template.
Steps:
- Open a project and edit a report.
- Navigate to the Quote Details page.
- Click
View Templatesbutton. - Select your template and click the on it to confirm.
