Price Adjustments

Add Discounts and Markups to a Quote

Use Price Adjustments to apply quote-level discounts or markups.

Adjustments can be configured as:

  • Dollar amount
  • Percentage

You can also control whether each adjustment is visible to the customer.


Add a New Adjustment

  1. Open a project report and go to quote editing.
  2. Find the Price Adjustments section.
  3. Click Add Adjustment Item.
  4. Choose adjustment type: Discount or Markup.
  5. Click Add.

Configure an Adjustment Item

For each item, set:

  • Name
  • Value in Dollar or Percentage
  • Visible toggle

You can create multiple discount and markup items in the same quote.


Section-Level Controls

In the same card, you can:

  • Rename the section title
  • Toggle whether the entire adjustments section is included/visible
  • Delete adjustment items

Best Practices

  • Use clear names like Seasonal Discount or Rush Fee.
  • Prefer percentage adjustments for proportional pricing changes.
  • Use visibility toggles carefully when internal-only adjustments are needed.
