Apply Layouts to Create Professional Quotes

Layouts are the starting point for every quote or report in MyRoofCRM. This guide shows you how to select a Layout, build a customized document from it, and manage changes.

1. Create a New Report from a Layout

To start a new quote for a customer, you can use your default layout or choose a specific one.

Steps:

  1. Open the desired customer Project.
  2. On the Project Details page, click one of two buttons:
    • Create a new report: Instantly creates a report using your account's default layout.
    • Create from layout: Opens a menu to select from all your available layouts.
  3. If you chose to select a layout, pick the one you want from the list and click on it.
  4. MyRoofCRM will generate a new report based on that layout. You'll notice it's already partially filled with customer details if you used tokens.

2. Customize Your Generated Report

Once the report is created, you can tailor it for the specific job and client.

What to do next:

  • Review Pre-filled Data: The system auto-populates areas like the customer's name, address, and your sales rep details if you used Text Tokens in your layout.
  • Edit Key Sections: Navigate through pages like the Quote Details, Authorization, or Scope of Work to input project-specific descriptions, pricing, and terms.
  • Manage Pages: You can add extra Custom Pages or toggle off any pre-set pages that aren't relevant for this particular quote.
